In the Jaszowiec district of Ustroń, there’s an unusual attraction – a miniature rock fortress. The property owner at 42 Wczasowa Street built it, creating a detailed model of a castle inspired by historical fortresses. Construction took 4 years. The site is open to visitors free of charge, though there’s a donation box at the entrance.
Wielka Czantoria (995 m above sea level) is the highest peak near Ustroń, located on the border with the Czech Republic. A 1,640-meter-long cable car leads to the top, and at the upper station there’s a summer toboggan run and a viewing tower offering panoramic views of the Beskids. In the winter season, a ski resort operates here with one of the longest downhill runs in the region.
The brine graduation tower in Ustroń, opened in June 2022, is located in the Spa Park near the amphitheater. It is the first public facility of this kind in the city. It uses natural brine flowing over blackthorn branches, creating a mineral-rich aerosol. Inhalation here supports respiratory health and provides a relaxing effect.
The graduation tower is free to use during the spring and summer season. It is closed in winter. The surrounding Spa Park offers walking paths and seating areas, making it a pleasant spot for both locals and tourists.
Leśny Park Niespodzianek is a zoo located on the slope of Równica in Ustroń. On its 15-hectare grounds, you can see bison, deer, roe deer, wild boar, wildcats, and raccoon dogs. The park also features shows with birds of prey in the falconry and owl enclosures, as well as educational trails.
